From Connections, paste in an app password — a one-time code Google generates just for Findest, separate from your real password. It takes under a minute if you already have two-step verification on, and you can revoke it from your Google Account whenever you like.
Findest watches, on its own
From then on, every new email is checked against your rules within minutes of arriving. Attachments that match get read, classified, and filed — nothing to forward, nothing to remember.
An app password, not your real one.
Google doesn't let outside apps sign in with your actual password — instead you generate a separate one just for Findest, good only for reading mail over a private connection. No OAuth review queue, no waiting list: it works today, for any Gmail account.
Read-only, always
Findest opens your inbox in read-only mode. It can never send, delete, label, or change anything — and it never marks a message as read, so your inbox looks exactly as it did.
Revoke it in one click
Delete the app password from your Google Account, or disconnect it from Findest's Connections page — either way, access stops immediately, nothing lingers.
Only matches get kept
Mail that doesn't match any of your rules is never stored — Findest logs just enough (sender, subject, date) to show you what happened in your History.

Does Findest read all of my email?
Findest checks new mail as it arrives to find attachments that match your rules. Anything that doesn't match a rule is never stored — only the sender, subject, and date are logged so you can see what happened in your History.
Can I revoke access at any time?
Yes. Disconnect it from Findest's Connections page, or delete the app password from your Google Account's security settings at any time — either way, access stops immediately.
Does this work with a Google Workspace inbox?
Yes, as long as your Workspace admin allows IMAP access and app passwords — some organizations restrict this centrally.
Why an app password instead of a Google sign-in button?
Automatic Gmail access through Google's own sign-in requires passing Google's yearly third-party security audit before it's available to everyone — until then it's capped to a small test list. An app password sidesteps that entirely: it's a feature built into every Gmail account, and it gives Findest the exact same read-only access, available today, for any account.
