Connect once, browse OneDrive and SharePoint

One Microsoft sign-in authorizes Findest with Files.ReadWrite access — enough to browse your real folder tree, including document libraries synced from SharePoint and Teams, not just an app-only folder.

Every rule picks its OneDrive folder

Set a rule once — payslip → OneDrive → hr/2026 — and every match gets classified, renamed, and uploaded automatically. Change your mind later and repoint it to a different folder in seconds.

Where files can land

Microsoft scatters your files across four places. The picker shows all of them.

OneDrive, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint and Teams are one storage layer wearing four names — so a rule can file into any of them.

OneDrive (personal)
The account behind onedrive.live.com, with the folders you already keep there.
OneDrive for Business
The drive your work Microsoft 365 account gets. Connect either, or both.
SharePoint document libraries
Any site library your account can open shows up as a destination folder.
Teams channel folders
A channel's Files tab is a SharePoint folder underneath, so it appears too.
OneDrive FAQ

What people usually ask.

Does it work with SharePoint document libraries, not just OneDrive?

Yes. If a SharePoint or Teams document library shows up in your OneDrive folder tree, the same folder browser and rules reach it.

Do I have to give Findest access to my whole OneDrive?

The Microsoft grant covers OneDrive the way its own picker would, Files.ReadWrite, but Findest only ever uploads to the specific folder your rule points to. See Security for exactly why we ask for that scope.

Can I file into a SharePoint or Teams folder?

Yes. Document libraries on SharePoint sites and the Files tab of a Teams channel are both SharePoint folders underneath, so they appear in the folder browser like any other destination.

What happens if I disconnect OneDrive later?

Existing files stay exactly where they are in your OneDrive. Findest just stops uploading new ones until you reconnect.
