Findest + Outlook
Connect Outlook once — personal or Microsoft 365 work account, same connection — and Findest watches for new mail on its own, reading, classifying, and filing matching attachments before you'd have finished dragging one into a folder yourself.
Read-only access, revocable anytime — full detail in Security
How connecting Outlook works
Connect Outlook or Microsoft 365
One click from Connections, through Microsoft's own sign-in screen. Findest asks for read-only access to your mail — nothing else — and works the same whether you sign in with a personal Outlook.com account or a work account.
Findest watches, on its own
From then on, every new email is checked against your rules the moment it arrives. Attachments that match get read, classified, and filed — nothing to forward, nothing to remember.
Personal or work — same connection, same rules.
Plenty of invoices and contracts arrive on a company inbox, not a personal one. Findest connects a Microsoft 365 work or school account exactly the same way it connects a personal Outlook.com or Hotmail account, so it doesn't matter which one is actually where your documents land.
Read-only, always
Findest can read your mail to find matching attachments. It can never send, delete, or change anything in your inbox — just enough access to know it's you and to read new mail.
Revoke it in one click
Disconnect from Findest's Connections page, or pull the permission straight from your Microsoft account — either way, access stops immediately, nothing lingers.
Only matches get kept
Mail that doesn't match any of your rules is never stored — Findest logs just enough (sender, subject, date) to show you what happened in your History.
What happens to a matching attachment.
Every attachment is read
The AI reads the whole document, not just the filename, to know exactly what it is. How classification works →
Your rule decides the folder
Findest checks your rules and files it, renamed, into the cloud folder that matches. See how rules work →
Confirmation lands in History
Every match shows up in your History with its label, the rule that caught it, and a direct link to where it landed.
What people usually ask.
Does this work with a Microsoft 365 work account?
Yes — the same connection works for a Microsoft 365 work or school account and a personal Outlook.com or Hotmail account. Connect the inbox you actually receive invoices and documents on, whichever type it is.
Does Findest read all of my email?
Findest checks new mail as it arrives to find attachments that match your rules. Anything that doesn't match a rule is never stored — only the sender, subject, and date are logged so you can see what happened in your History.
Can I revoke access at any time?
Yes. Disconnect it from Findest's Connections page, or remove Findest from your Microsoft account's app permissions at any time — either way, access stops immediately.
Will a work admin need to approve this?
Some Microsoft 365 organizations restrict third-party app access centrally. If your admin blocks it, you'll see that during the connection step — in that case, ask them to allow Findest, or connect a personal inbox instead.
What if I use Gmail instead of Outlook?
Gmail connects too, from the same Connections page and in the same way. See the Gmail connection →
See it file your next invoice.
